Camilla has a theory that whoever you played in your school Nativity mirrors how you will be later in life. She played Mary, so surely when she grew up she became the most important person in the world? That is not quite what happened… Now she is in her 30s and life isn’t quite shaping up to what she was promised. Maybe now if she goes back, she will be able to turn things around. *Queue Little Donkey*
Mary is everything, but she is also just a girl. What is just wanted to listen to Lorde instead of be visited by one?
Through characters, games and lots (and lots) of audience interaction, Camilla re-tells the story of the Nativity from a slightly different perspective. Expect familiar faces, and a few surprising ones- there definitely was a Lobster present at the birth of Christ?
She asks the important questions, such as: Did Mary shave her legs? Was Joseph the original cuck? And, what exactly is Myrrh??
Hopefully, by re-visiting Mary and using the power of the Nativity (& Christmas, & the Wise Men & several sheep), Camilla will finally be able to properly grow up and stop being afraid.
It’s May and hopefully the sun will be shining, let’s go to the beach and get festive!
A show of pure silliness from someone who played Mary when she was 8 and won’t stop talking about it.
