Opposite The Level, The Caroline of Brunswick is Brighton’s most exciting pub - and is the city’s friendliest rock & alternative bar, with a live performance venue upstairs, specialising in comedy and cabaret show through the year and an intimate walled garden and outdoor seating. The Upper Lounge is the place to see great comedy and cabaret in an intimate environment, while late at weekends the dance floor opens up as our DJs and rock karaoke sessions take over.

Located right in the centre of Brighton next to the Clock Tower, just down the hill from the station, The Quadrant is one of Brighton's oldest watering holes - It's a quirky little independent boozer with a live music, comedy and craft workshops room upstairs and a covered outdoor seating area out the back. The Fringe performance space for Fringe shows is the upstairs "Folklore Room" which hosts Fringe shows all day and night at weekends, and in the evenings during the week.
Located on busy Western Road, on the way towards Hove, the new look Temple Bar houses a young and vibrant crowd who know their drink, love their food and demand good music. There’s a discerning yet warm atmosphere in this contemporary drinking den. There food, drink and plenty of outdoor seating that blends the outdoors with indoors in this stylish venue. Fringe shows are located here every day during the Fringe in the upstairs room, with an intimate feel featuring rows of seats located between the styled booth seating.

In central Brighton, a stone’s throw from the beach and on historic Ship Street in Brighton’s famous Lanes, you’ll find the Walrus with its labyrinth of eclectically-decorated rooms and endless winding passageways. You’ll also discover a wonderful hidden two-story roof garden, restaurant and spacious bar. There are also a two performance spaces for Fringe shows. The large "Basement Room" located downstairs, and the more intimate "Raised Room", located to the rear of the ground floor bar - both hosting Fringe shows all day and night at weekends, and in the evenings during the week.

Established in 1828 The Windmill is one Brighton’s classic back street boozers. South facing sun trap, open fire, toad table, function room, local Sussex beers and food by the fantastic Alberta’s. Upstairs is a small room for Fringe shows, running through the weekend.
