Applications for the 2026 Brighton Fringe are open!
We are taking applications for Brighton Fringe shows for May 2026, so now is the time to apply to us if you'd still like to bring a show to one of our venues for the 2026 Brighton Fringe - please submit an applcation now! (And we'll keep programming right up to the Fringe deadlines while there are spaces remaining.)
Laughing Horse is running six performance spaces in four venues for Brighton Fringe 2026 - with performances daily from May 1st to 31st, 2026.
Our venues vary from the intimate space of the Temple with 50 seats, up to the large capacity Walrus Basement room which seats 105. Details of all of the venues can be found here
Please note that there will be no shows at the Quadeant in 2026, as that venue has now become a full time music venue so there will be no Fringe shows.
This year we have a 2nd space at a&o Hostel, the larger front room making that venue our second multi-room venue in Brighton.
Some details have changed, so even if you are a performer who has performed with us before please read through these pages to find out all of the details of our venues, and how we'll be opearating in 2026.
All of our venues operate on a flat-fee basis, so all door/ticket money goes direct to performers. This is for Paid Entry, Pay-What-You-Can and Free with Collection shows.
Please read through all of the performers pages to see how we operate, what the costs will be, and then send us in an application.
