Kate Cheka: The Last Funny Woman (Work in Progress)

Last year award-winning UK comedian Kate Cheka attempted to save the world, now it is time to burn it down. What does it mean to be a feminist while Western civilisation collapses around us? The Funny Women Award winner 2023, Chortle Best Newcomer Nominee 2024 and DIVA Magazine Queer Comedian of the Year 2025 ponders this and other things. Like should she have just married her teenage boyfriend and become a tradwife instead of trying to be a strong independent woman. Come help Kate figure it out. 'Political comedy may yet have found its new messiah' (The Guardian).

Ticket types this year are Paid, Pay What You Want and Free - this is how it works: Paid: The show is fully ticketed and you pay in advance or on the door; Pay What You Want: You can choose to buy a ticket in advanced to guarantee entry and what to pay over a minimum amount OR turn up at the venue to get in for free in any space that is left; Free: The show is free entry and can be ticketed or unticketed. Watch the show, and the performer will ask for donations at the end for those that would like to contribute.
