Ask A Stripper: Pulling Back the G-String

Ask A Stripper is a comedy show like no other. Real life strippers reveal all in this fiercely feminist and riotously funny Q&A. Ever wanted to know what strippers eat for breakfast? How do they really spend their money? Ever dated a customer? Stacey Clare (author of "The Ethical Stripper") and Sabrina Jade (star of reality TV show "Slagwars") return to Brighton Fringe with their candid humour, razor sharp wit and iconic stage presence. No one does crowd-work like strippers can - from working long hours performing for boozed up punters, there is no heckle they can't shut down. Ask A Stripper lifts a lid on a deeply mysterious, stigmatised and misunderstood industry, and offers insights on working conditions, regulations and how sex work is represented in popular culture. From backstage banter, to brutal honesty, this show will have you laughing as much as questioning everything you've ever thought you knew about the sex industry. Ever had a burning question? There's a cream for that.

Ticket types this year are Paid, Pay What You Want and Free - this is how it works: Paid: The show is fully ticketed and you pay in advance or on the door; Pay What You Want: You can choose to buy a ticket in advanced to guarantee entry and what to pay over a minimum amount OR turn up at the venue to get in for free in any space that is left; Free: The show is free entry and can be ticketed or unticketed. Watch the show, and the performer will ask for donations at the end for those that would like to contribute.

Something which must immediately be seen the length and breadth of the country in as many places as possible... a hugely important hour that gives a platform for voices which are pretty much unheard in the mainstream.

A brilliant bit of political outreach, perfectly executed by two extraordinary women. Click Here For Review
