The Eric Tinker Experience stars Australian-based Eric Tinker, comedian and singer of eccentric songs. His stand up is sprinkled with music: he raps as MC Boomer, sings a love song to Margaret Thatcher, appears as a meditating cow, sings about things you should never do and more. Also Eric will be ‘reading the mind’ of an audience member and improvise a song from their thoughts! How wrong can that go?
Eric has performed successful shows at the Adelaide, Edinburgh, Perth (WA) and Brisbane Fringes over the last seven years. He has appeared in clubs, pubs and festivals around Australia and in his native England, as well as in North America, Europe and Southeast Asia, so far chalking up over 300 appearances. His style is influenced by the likes of Spike Milligan, The Bonzo Dog Band, Wilson Dixon and Flight of the Conchords.
"His songs, like Philosophy, are brilliant, dripping with double entendres and fantasy.” The Barefoot Review.
“Eric Tinker is blessed with a keen sense of the ridiculous.” The Clothesline.
"Eric's show is really bloody weird and so much fun." Kate Rudge, Bris Funny Fest director.
"Tinker’s humour is more unusual than most - a unique brew of nerdy observation and looney lateral thinking." The Barefoot Review.
