Snails Of The Unexpected

Chaos Theory have been performing sketch and character comedy for several successful years. The group consists of performer/writers Mykila Durkan, Maria Beadell, Yasser Kayani and Bruce Williams and director/writer Stephen Dinsdale. Between them they have played a puddle in an advert, stripped naked for Danish TV, been the face of British Gas in the Olympics, worked with David Icke, worked with Dario Fo and written for BBC Films, BBC TV, ITV, BBC Radio Four, and London's West End. The performers are all experienced stand up comedians in their own right and perform together as Chaos Theory. There is a musical element to the show as well, as Bruce Williams is also legendary blues man Bunny Hopkins. Chaos Theory has appeared at Brighton Fringe, Camden Fringe many times, Edinburgh Fringe, Faversham Fringe and the Vault Festival. The show is written by the company but we encourage new writing and if something sent in is funny it may well get in the show. As it is a sketch show it is always evolving and changing ranging from the light hearted and crazy to darker and more challenging to running for your mum - but in a good way! Quick fire and funny! Recent sketches include Dracula's air b and b, the Asian Michael Caine, a woman who likes shoes a bit too much, a new take on Bowie's Space Oddity, a wasp cafe, a vampire tumour, art critics and the (English) Inquisition

Ticket types this year are Paid, Pay What You Want and Free - this is how it works: Paid: The show is fully ticketed and you pay in advance or on the door; Pay What You Want: You can choose to buy a ticket in advanced to guarantee entry and what to pay over a minimum amount OR turn up at the venue to get in for free in any space that is left; Free: The show is free entry and can be ticketed or unticketed.
