Soft Animal

Soft Animal is the debut show from Pedro Leandro, a comedian who has famously been described as 'magnetic' (Guardian) and 'a beautiful bright-eyed joy' (Everything Theatre).

Sadly, he has found this praise to be insufficient.

Standing atop the lonely Everest of his innumerable achievements, he invites his audience to reflect: would it, can it, ever be enough? If the whole world said, as one: “You are the greatest comedian that’s ever lived. In fact, to call you a comedian would do a great disservice to your art. You transcend that label. You are an artist. But you are also the art. You are both Da Vinci and the Mona Lisa. And it’s ok that you’re gay. In fact, we think it makes you even cooler.” Would that be enough?

I mean, it wouldn’t hurt.

Ticket types this year are Paid, Pay What You Can and Free - this is how it works: Paid: The show is fully ticketed and you pay in advance or on the door; Pay What You Can: You can choose to buy a ticket in advanced to guarantee entry and what to pay over a minimum amount OR turn up at the venue to get in for free in any space that is left; Free: The show is free entry and can be ticketed or unticketed. Watch the show, and the performer will ask for donations at the end for those that would like to contribute.
