Shaggers was born at the Edinburgh Fringe in August 2008. ​Originally meant to run for one season as a fun late show at the Laughing Horse Free Festival with all sorts of comedians talking about that noble pursuit - shagging. However, after the room filled every night, Shaggers continued on to the Adelaide Fringe and Melbourne International Comedy festivals in 2009.
