Tales of Whatever

Comedians telling true stories. A diverse line-up of seasoned performers, comedians and storytellers join hosts Mark Powell and Lee Moore to share 10-minute tales of weird, horrifying, funny, glorious or memorable incidents and encounters.

Tales of Whatever is a compilation show with a difference - guests don't tell their best jokes, but share true stories from personal experience. Stories are often funny, but can also be confessional, serious and heartfelt. We have showcased a variety of brilliant performers including: Simon Munnery, Sophie Willan, Stuart Goldsmith, Jordan Gray, Daliso Chaponda, Fern Brady, Sean Morley, Tom Mayhew, Lorna Prichard and many many more.

Founded in 2011, Tales of Whatever hosts monthly live shows in Sheffield, as well as programming, hosting and performing at a variety of festivals, events and venues around the UK including: Latitude Festival, Edinburgh Fringe 2018 & 2019, Sheffield International Doc/Fest, The Crucible Theatre (Sheffield), The Albany Theatre (London), The Lowry Theatre (Manchester), Angel Comedy/The Bill Murray (London), Nottingham Comedy Festival and Leicester Comedy Festival.
