Acaprov Musical

HAMILTON MEETS PITCH PERFECT - spontaneously improvised, completely a cappella!

Do you love Improv? RAP? Beat-boxing? Body Percussion? Dance? Musicals? Great Acting? A cappella singing? If you answered yes to any of these 8 things - you are probably going to love Acaprov!

Founded in 2018, Acaprov is a 5* improvised a cappella long form musical directed by award winning actor, singer and improviser Lisa Lynn (HOOPLA, MusicBox, Hell Yeah!). Based in London, England; the show brings together Beat-Boxing, Rap, Body Percussion, Acting, Dance, Singing, Improv and heart to entertain audiences worldwide.

Every show is unique as Acaprov take a location and title from the audience to inspire a one time world of heartfelt connections, laugh out loud adventures and soul stirring songs - 100% a cappella. Everything seen and heard is invented in the moment and entirely from the minds and bodies of the performers.

Founded by Lisa Lynn (and originally co-directed by Lee Apsey of multiple Fringe sell-out CSI: Crime Scene Improvisation) This show was created by working class actors, singers and improvisers using a Nursery Original’s Grant from The Nursery Theatre London. Acaprov has since performed and taught workshops across the UK and Europe, including sold out shows at the Brighton Fringe 2019, TILT Festival Estonia, So Impro festival Bulgaria, Improfest Gothenburg and at the International Cultural Centre in Berlin. Since the start of the COVID-19 Pandemic Acaprov has taught a cappella improv workshops all over the world via ZOOM and is currently fundraising for a tour across America. Acaprov regularly perform at the UK's top improv venue - HOOPLA; and have been back on stage since the lockdowns ended. They cannot wait to entertain you this year in Brighton - back better than ever!

Ticket types this year are Paid, Pay What You Can and Free - this is how it works: Paid: The show is fully ticketed and you pay in advance or on the door; Pay What You Can: You can choose to buy a ticket in advanced to guarantee entry and what to pay over a minimum amount OR turn up at the venue to get in for free in any space that is left; Free: The show is free entry and can be ticketed or unticketed.
