The Writing on the Stall is a raucous hour of comedy, music, and bathroom stall graffiti art brought to you by LA-born, NYC-based, Oxford-educated, hyphen-addicted raconteur Caitlin Cook. Having photographed bathroom stall graffiti for almost a decade, I'm finally bringing my findings some hilarious or poignant, others grotesque and sad, most all drunken and in permanent marker to the stage. Equal parts musical comedy, visuals, storytelling, and stand-up, Cook explore the question posed from the first instance of bathroom graffiti that she ever photographed: "Since writing on toilet walls is done neither for critical acclaim nor financial reward, it is the purest form of art. Discuss." For a good time call... ahead to ensure you'll snag a seat to this one-of-a-kind show.
