In his next life, Pete wants to be a greenfinch.
Failing that he just wants to be happy. But can he be happy? Of course he can.

Join Hammer and Tongue finalist poet-clown Pete Strong as he tries to find joy in the little things with poems about love, drinking, working, bits of furniture, and the aching feeling that maybe, just maybe, nothing really matters too much except living in the moment.

Expect some poetry, a few jokes, some clowning around, some props, some songs, a very dour 50 year old Northern Irish woman, and some dancing.

“His laconic and often surreal poetry was a treat, delivered in a calculated deadpan that highlighted its contemplative nature. An act well worth seeing.” Broadway Baby
“Well-judged, walking a fine emotional line with an assured step...cathartically funny.” Chortle
“Warped charm” The Argus
"Absolutely shameful" Voicemag
