"Stedman's voice is sure to melt hearts." - UNCUT magazine

Comedian Andy Stedman had always dreamed of being a rock star, a famous singer-songwriter whose songs changed peoples' lives. Instead here he is performing comedy to you in a small room in Brighton. Where did it all go wrong, and what next for Andy...

From a hideously out of tune early gig in Bracknell, to turning round and seeing the back of his head on the big screen on stage at Shepherds Bush Empire, to being interviewed by a puppet on Canadian TV, some BBC Radio 2 airplay and then finally playing to 3 people (another band who were waiting for their turn to go on) who left after two songs, this is the story of Andy Stedman - confessions of a failed rock star. Where did it all go wrong?

Andy is a professional comedian, gigging on the circuit as an act and MC for many of the biggest promoters and clubs. His comedy songs, jokes and likability with audiences have made him an in-demand act.

"As well as being one of the nicest and considerate performers on the circuit, Andy Stedman is a fine comedian. Whether he's acting as compere or headliner he always delivers funny routines without resorting to offensive language or material which in this day and age is a refreshing quality to possess. First class in my book." - BOBBY DAVRO (comedy and TV legend)

"Stedman displays real talent in playing to his audience, creating and maintaining a friendly rapport which gives the show much of its charm. His songs are genuinely funny." - BROADWAY BABY
