Dominic Holland - The Glory Year. A veteran stand-up with countless TV appearances to his name (albeit few of late!) but don't let this put you off because this is a he is properly funny stand-up. At last years Edinburgh Festival, The Mail, Sunday Times, The Guardian, The Glasgow Herald, The Scotsman and The Evening Standard all gave 4 star notices and the run completely sold out. Dominic Holland is 50 years old. An everyman making hilarity from his own life which reflects the lives of his audience. Because his experiences of life and parenthood are yours - er, apart from the fact that his eldest son is Tom Holland. Tom is an actor, a movie star in fact, who plays Spider-Man in the new Marvel films. This is of course not very normal but nonetheless is fun to hear from the by comparison, struggling old man. So come along and laugh at yourself in the hands of a man who knows his game and has the stage time as well.
