The Parentheticals are an improv team based in London. Their players hail from the UK, Europe, Canada, and the United States.

Their format, Improdyssey, is a fully-improvised epic quest. They ask the audience for the object the protagonist/s shall seek and the starting location. From there, the story begins! Along the way, there may be singing, silent scenes, and speaking in unison.

Whilst inclined to silly jokey scenes, the team also aims to elicit gasps, and, if possible, tears.

Previous stories have included The Quest for the Fully-Functioning Stapler, The Quest for the Chocolate Shovel in Summer, and The Quest for the Occasionally Magical Ring.

'Comedy magic... unbelievable energy... The Parentheticals are huge fun' (London Pub Theatres)

'Incredibly well-executed and imaginative... I couldn’t help but become immersed' - ★★★★ (Views from the Gods)

'A masterclass in improvisation' - ★★★★★ (Open Door)
